Placement
The corporate affairs cell of the Institute along with the placement committee,
comprising faculty members and a student team, works towards strengthening
placements. The Institute provides complete support to arrange for placement
opportunities on the campus. The cell also works as a link between the industry
and the institute does the necessary networking to complement the process of
placement.
Prior to the final placement season the Institute regularly organizes
interactive workshops with industry at the campus. The objective of this is to
create an opportunity for:
a) The industry professionals to interact with our
students and assess their caliber
b) Students to learn about specific companies
and identify which lines of business they would like to work in as per their
aptitude & inclination.
OPIMT believes that it is important for a student to
have a mindset while joining an organization to make a career there and not take
it up just as an employment. Only then, the work is done not out of duty alone
but out of a desire to continuously add value to yourself and your organization.
This is a hallmark of responsible business leaders and this is what we imbibe in
our student. The placement cell’s activities also include
